Newport News, VA (8/1/16) – Alex Crawford, an Associate Advisor at PBMares Wealth Management, LLC – a Registered Investment Advisory firm providing cost effective fee-only investment advice and asset management – has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the Certified Financial Planner™ and CFP® certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.
The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.

Crawford joined PBMares Wealth Management in 2014. In his current position, he is responsible for helping individuals develop comprehensive plans to meet their financial goals in life. In addition, he holds a Life Health and Annuities license in Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning. While at Virginia Tech, he joined the Financial Planning Association and continues to stay involved locally.
